A growing amount of all care in California is being provided in our state’s emergency departments. This includes HIV testing. But no data source shows how many HIV tests each ED performs, or how many of those tests find HIV. Help us build the first statewide, ED-based, dataset on HIV testing.
One square per county (58). Filled: at least one ED contributing. Outlined: in conversation.
Annual ED visits, HIV tests, and positives — from a report you already have. Aggregate numbers only.
Contributing sites are named in the CalEDHIV Investigators group authorship on the resulting papers.
Every site gets an annual benchmark report: your ED beside the (de-identified) statewide picture.
